at our blue + green wedding. we decided to opt for something non-traditional for hubby’s outfit. hubby was wearing some sort of a suit-thing. design was inspired by an indonesia wedding magazine that we got from bandung. apparently the suit-thing is quite a hit in indonesia heavily beaded with local-inspired design.

wedding outfit doesnt have to be heavily beaded to look wedding-ish or extravagant. color plays a very important to make ur big day look lively. i personally wouldn’t recommend grey. the hubby who is also a wedding photographer mentioned black and white wedding looks nice physically but no so much on the camera.

here’s my wedding outfit. quite simple and not heavily beaded all at. infact. the top wasnt beaded at all, only on the kain.

i got my akad outfit today. i gotta say i’m really chuffed about it. it’s a simple design. i needed the innocent and pure feel to it . hehehe. although, i’m quite nervous about wearing it on the big day. what if my tummy shows? what if it’s gonna be too hot? what if i look fat in it?

yikiesss. ok ok pointless freaking out session, i know. ehehe

I found another color option for my intended “purple wedding”.

A purple-white outfit.

i saw a Palatinate purple lacey which totally compliments white satin the other day. I sorta fell in love with the color combi instantly. I had a picture in my head that it would definitely look awesome if the outfit were to be made into pic 1) and me holding flower bouquet in pic 2)
